SCOPE:
Amidyne Solutions is looking for Electrical Engineers who can combine their technical expertise with a hands-on approach to solving customer problems and developing new products.
REPORTS TO:
General Manager
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Taking initiative and implementing innovative products/services that have direct impacts at nuclear power stations
- Working with customers to assess their issues and implement solutions within a specified time frame to improve operating performance, safety and fixed/variable cost structures
- Building a network outside the organization that can also work on challenging problems, think creatively and share your passion for problem solving
- Implement process improvement changes at client sites, working with the client to make the required changes
- Working with the team on developing instrumentation and controls for Nuclear Stations; building an innovative product portfolio to service client needs
- Thought leadership development and content preparation
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Proven technical ability in the Nuclear space, turbines and instrumentation
- Experience in Project Management – idea development and seeing projects through to fruition
- Ability to Work in a team environment – collaborating, supporting, and leading groups with a proven track record of success
- Creative thinking will be required for product development and configuring unique solutions to client requirements
- Independent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Hands-on planning and execution – working with client employees and vendors to implement change
- Putting technical skills into practice onsite and at the office when working with clients and developers
EDUCATIONAL/JOB EXPERIENCE:
- 3-5 years of work experience in a similar space or industry
- Undergraduate Degree in Electrical Engineering required
- Must be able to work legally in Canada
